The right Clearco alternative usually depends on your monthly revenue. Clearco is built for U.S. direct-to-consumer ecommerce brands with 6+ months of consistent revenue above $100,000 a month. Smaller brands should compare Wayflyer, which asks for $10,000 a month in sales, and the financing offered inside the platforms they already sell on: Shopify Capital, PayPal Working Capital, Square Loans and Stripe Capital. If you sell wholesale or run a services business, Wayflyer also funds those models. If you need a reusable line or a term longer than 12 months, compare the Bluevine and American Express lines of credit or a term loan. Each option is compared below, checked in November 2026.
What Clearco offers (checked November 2026)
Clearco (Clear Finance Technology Corporation) provides non-dilutive funding to ecommerce brands. It says it has invested more than $3 billion in over 10,000 businesses.
- Amount and term: funding up to $10 million, with estimated payment terms up to 12 months.
- Eligibility: brands that sell directly to consumers online, have 6+ months of consistent revenue above $100,000 a month, and are incorporated in the U.S. with an active U.S. business bank account.
- Structures: Fixed Funding Capacity (a set payment schedule) or Rolling Funding Capacity (each payment frees up capacity again), deployed as a Cash Advance or as Invoice Funding to pay suppliers.
- Collateral: Clearco says it does not take blanket or all-asset liens and can work alongside senior lenders.
- Underwriting: you connect at least one sales platform (it lists Shopify, Amazon, BigCommerce, Square, Stripe and PayPal), and Clearco uses monthly revenue to set capacity. Reviews typically take as little as 24 hours.
- Cost: rates are based on business performance and are not published as a range on its homepage.
For a U.S. DTC brand above $100,000 a month that wants to fund inventory without a blanket lien, Clearco is a focused option. The alternatives below are for brands outside that profile or wanting a different structure.
Who should look beyond Clearco
- Revenue under $100,000 a month. Wayflyer asks for $10,000 a month in sales; platform programs such as Shopify Capital and PayPal Working Capital size offers on your sales history there.
- Wholesale, retail or services revenue. Clearco focuses on DTC ecommerce. Wayflyer lists wholesalers, retailers, software and services businesses, and bank-statement lenders look at all deposits regardless of channel.
- Need more than 12 months. Online term loans run up to about 24 months, some lenders go to 60, and SBA working capital loans up to 10 years.
- Want a reusable line for ad spend and restocks. The Bluevine and American Express lines let you draw as needed, and Clearco's rolling option is one route to compare with them.
- Most of your sales run through one platform. That platform's own program may already have an offer waiting for you.

How FSE compares options from multiple lenders
Every lender above has its own credit box, and applying to them one at a time takes days and repeats the same paperwork. FSE (Funding Solutions Experts) is an independent commercial finance brokerage that works with 50+ lending partners across working capital, lines of credit, term loans, equipment financing, real estate-backed funding and merchant cash advances. You complete one application, and FSE compares what your business may qualify for across those partners, so you can weigh ecommerce revenue-based funding against lines of credit, term loans and inventory financing side by side on total cost, payment schedule and term.
- No fee to you. FSE never charges the business any fee; FSE is paid by commission from its funding partners.
- Minimums. At least 1 year in business and $10,000 or more in monthly revenue.
- No credit check to apply. FSE's application does not ask for your Social Security number and does not pull your credit. An individual lender may check credit later in its own process.
- No promises we cannot keep. Approval, amounts and terms are set by each lender, and no approval is guaranteed.
If your business meets those minimums, you can apply once with FSE and compare offers from multiple lenders.
