The best Credibly alternatives depend on what you want to improve. With a 625+ credit score and a year in business, the Bluevine and American Express lines of credit or an OnDeck loan can cost less and offer weekly or monthly payments. For a similar product with a different credit box, compare National Funding. For more than Credibly's $600,000 ceiling or a much lower rate, look at SBA 7(a) loans or real estate-backed financing. And if the need is tied to invoices or equipment, factoring or equipment financing often fits better than working capital. Credibly's own terms and seven alternatives are compared below, checked in November 2026.
What Credibly offers (checked November 2026)
- Products: Credibly lends working capital loans and merchant cash advances directly. Through partners, it offers SBA loans, business lines of credit (up to $300,000), equipment financing and long-term loans.
- Amounts: $5,000 to $600,000.
- Minimums: operating in the United States, 6+ months in business, $15,000+ in average monthly revenue deposited to a business bank account, and a 500+ credit score. Requirements vary by product.
- Cost: factor rates as low as 1.11, according to Credibly; your price depends on your file.
- Repayment: automatic daily and weekly options, and monthly on some products. Merchant cash advance remittances are based on card sales.
- Speed: Credibly advertises approval in as little as 2 hours and funding in as little as 4 hours.
- Credit: Credibly says pre-qualifying uses a soft credit pull and will not hurt your score.
Credibly's low credit minimum and six-month bar make it one of the more accessible lenders for businesses with steady deposits. The reasons to compare are cost, payment frequency and size.
Who should look beyond Credibly
- Credit of 625 or higher and a year in business. You may qualify for lines and loans priced below a short-term factor-rate product.
- Owners who want monthly payments. Bluevine and OnDeck offer monthly options, the American Express line uses monthly installments, and SBA and bank loans are monthly.
- Need more than $600,000. SBA 7(a) loans go up to $5 million, and property equity can support larger amounts.
- Under 6 months in business. Credibly says startups typically do not qualify. Fundbox (3 months, per NerdWallet) and platform programs such as Shopify Capital or Square Loans accept younger businesses.
- Revenue under $15,000 a month. The American Express line asks for $3,000 a month and Bluevine $10,000.
- Already carrying several advances. Adding another short-term product can strain cash flow; consolidation may be the better question.

Working capital loan or merchant cash advance?
| Working capital loan | Merchant cash advance | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A loan with a fixed payback | A purchase of future receivables, not a loan |
| How you repay | Fixed daily, weekly or monthly payments | Remittances based on actual or expected sales |
| Pricing | Often a factor rate or fixed fee on short terms | A factor rate |
| Use it when | Revenue is steady and you want a known payment | Sales swing seasonally and speed matters most |
A factor rate of 1.11 means $11,100 repaid for every $10,000 received, before fees; repaid over six months, that is a much higher annual cost than the same fee over two years. How FSE compares options from multiple lenders
Every lender above has its own credit box, and applying to them one at a time takes days and repeats the same paperwork. FSE (Funding Solutions Experts) is an independent commercial finance brokerage that works with 50+ lending partners across working capital, lines of credit, term loans, equipment financing, real estate-backed funding and merchant cash advances. You complete one application, and FSE compares what your business may qualify for across those partners, so you can weigh a Credibly-style working capital offer against lines of credit, term loans and SBA options side by side on total cost, payment schedule and term.
- No fee to you. FSE never charges the business any fee; FSE is paid by commission from its funding partners.
- Minimums. At least 1 year in business and $10,000 or more in monthly revenue.
- No credit check to apply. FSE's application does not ask for your Social Security number and does not pull your credit. An individual lender may check credit later in its own process.
- No promises we cannot keep. Approval, amounts and terms are set by each lender, and no approval is guaranteed.
If your business meets those minimums, you can apply once with FSE and compare offers from multiple lenders.
