The right Rapid Finance alternative depends on which of its requirements you miss. NerdWallet's May 2026 review lists 24 to 36 months in business for Rapid Finance's main products, so younger businesses should look at OnDeck and Bluevine (about 1 year), Forward Financing (1 year) or Credibly (6 months). If your credit score is under 600, Credibly and Forward Financing both publish a 500 minimum. If you want monthly payments and have good credit, compare the American Express Business Line of Credit and Bluevine. And if you can wait a few weeks for a lower rate, an SBA 7(a) loan usually costs the least. Each option is compared below, checked in November 2026.
What Rapid Finance offers (checked November 2026)
Rapid Finance is a U.S. small business finance company founded in 2005, according to NerdWallet. Its site says it has funded more than $3 billion. Some products are offered by Rapid Finance's own companies and others are arranged: its site names Small Business Financial Solutions, LLC and Rapid Financial Services, LLC as offering term loans, lines of credit and factoring, and Commercial Servicing Company, LLC as arranging term loans, SBA loans, asset-based loans, commercial real estate loans and business credit cards.
| Product | Published amount | Published term | Published minimums (per NerdWallet, May 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small business (term) loan | Up to $1 million | 3 to 60 months, daily or weekly payments | 650 credit score, 36 months in business, $120,000 annual revenue |
| Line of credit | $5,001 to $250,000 | Up to 18 months, weekly payments | 620 credit score, 24 months in business, $150,000 annual revenue |
| Merchant cash advance | Up to $500,000 | Paid from receivables | 600 credit score, 36 months in business, $120,000 annual revenue |
- Other products: bridge loans up to $1 million, SBA loans, invoice factoring with advances from $20,000, asset-based loans and commercial real estate loans.
- Cost: NerdWallet reports a 4% draw fee on the line of credit and factor rates of 1.12 to 1.50 on the merchant cash advance, and no prepayment penalties. Rapid Finance does not publish APRs on its homepage.
- To apply: three months of business bank statements, your business tax ID and a completed application. Rapid Finance says getting a quote carries no risk to your credit profile.
- Speed: funding as fast as 24 hours on loans and advances, and within hours of approval in some cases.
For an established business with two to three years of history, Rapid Finance's range of products is broad. The alternatives below are for businesses outside those minimums or wanting a lower-cost structure.
Who should look beyond Rapid Finance
- Under 2 or 3 years in business. OnDeck and Bluevine ask for about a year, Forward Financing 1 year and Credibly 6 months.
- Credit score under 600. Credibly and Forward Financing publish a 500 minimum.
- Want monthly payments. Rapid Finance's loans are repaid daily or weekly and its line weekly. Bluevine, OnDeck lines, the American Express line and SBA loans offer monthly repayment.
- Want to avoid a draw fee. OnDeck says its line has no draw fees; the American Express line charges a monthly fee on each draw instead, so compare total cost either way.
- Need more than $1 million. SBA 7(a) loans go up to $5 million, and Mulligan Funding advertises up to $10 million for businesses with $750,000 or more in annual revenue.

How FSE compares options from multiple lenders
Every lender above has its own credit box, and applying to them one at a time takes days and repeats the same paperwork. FSE (Funding Solutions Experts) is an independent commercial finance brokerage that works with 50+ lending partners across working capital, lines of credit, term loans, equipment financing, real estate-backed funding and merchant cash advances. You complete one application, and FSE compares what your business may qualify for across those partners, so you can weigh a Rapid Finance-style loan or line against other term loans, lines of credit and SBA options side by side on total cost, payment schedule and term.
- No fee to you. FSE never charges the business any fee; FSE is paid by commission from its funding partners.
- Minimums. At least 1 year in business and $10,000 or more in monthly revenue.
- No credit check to apply. FSE's application does not ask for your Social Security number and does not pull your credit. An individual lender may check credit later in its own process.
- No promises we cannot keep. Approval, amounts and terms are set by each lender, and no approval is guaranteed.
If your business meets those minimums, you can apply once with FSE and compare offers from multiple lenders.
